Faux Fried Pickles

Mandy-Blog-Post-Header-in-the-kitchen

I spent countless nights with my Alma College pals at the Braveheart Pub sipping on beers and snacking on fried pickles.  Let’s be honest, back then I could get away with it because I spent all of my free time on the treadmill in the rec center.  Now that I am 31, almost 32 (yikes) I just can’t keep up and no matter how much exercise I get during the day my metabolism just doesn’t want to cooperate.

Snowman Pastry Puffs-2

I had puff pastry leftover from my turkey pot pies last week so I decided to try these easy puff pastry appetizers over New Year’s weekend.  They were cute little guys and were yummy right out of the oven, perfect for a warm dip or a bowl of soup.  I used snowman cookies cutters to put them into a festive shape for January but you could use any shape that you want.

Thanksgiving Meal Plan

14.11.12

I have always loved Thanksgiving, mostly because I am a food lover but also because it is a holiday that you can spend in a comfy sweater cooking in the kitchen while watching football.  As a kid I would get up early to watch the Thanksgiving Day Parade with my sibs and then help my mom with the cooking, setting the table and doing the last minute vacuuming before the family arrived.  (you know how much I love to vacuum!

Crock Pot BBQ Chicken Sliders

24.10.12

Over the weekend I threw together one of the easiest dish I make, BBQ crock pot chicken.  It only requires 2 ingredients, 3 if you want to get fancy. The chicken is perfect in salads and sandwiches and I love making a big batch so I have leftovers or to stick in the freezer for a day that I don’t feel like cooking.

Today we are excited to share 40 great tailgate party snacks Kuzak’s Closet and we hope you can use it as a go-to guide for your fall festivities.

Here are the links to our social media outlets so please stop by and say hi!

Touchdown Week: Katie {Did} It

02.10.12

Hi there Kuzaks Closet Readers! I am so excited to be here on Amanda’s blog today, to participate in Tailgate Week! My name is Katie, and I blog over at Katie{Did}It. I like to do lots of DIY projects, crafts, and cooking. I hope to see you visit me over there some time!

In my house, we cheer for the Dallas Cowboys… Most of the time. Ha! My dad is a diehard Cowboys fan, so I was pretty much raised on them. But my husband plays fantasy football, so we generally watch lots of games so he can see how his players are doing. *fun*

Now, lets get down to business. How many of you out there like pizza? Did you all raise your hands? Good. Because if you don’t like pizza… Well, then there may be something wrong with you. Just sayin.

I have this delicious dip I found here, called Pizza Dip. And it is YUM-MY. And easy. Which makes it perfect for football games.
