I spent countless nights with my Alma College pals at the Braveheart Pub sipping on beers and snacking on fried pickles. Let’s be honest, back then I could get away with it because I spent all of my free time on the treadmill in the rec center. Now that I am 31, almost 32 (yikes) I just can’t keep up and no matter how much exercise I get during the day my metabolism just doesn’t want to cooperate.

I hope you all enjoyed yesterday’s guest post from Sister-Dipity, it was fun to be apart of Rebecca and Tracey’s birthday tradition! This week I am hosting a themed week on my blog where guest bloggers will be sharing their girls’ night out traditions. I like to host a themed week at least 4 times a year. Today Alyssa is sharing her fun with the girls’ at the beach! Alyssa is from my home town of Cass City and she was apart of many of my high school girls’ night outs. You are going to love this post!Homemade Soft Pretzels

Nothing is better than a warm and buttery soft pretzel, I can barely pass Aunt Annie’s at the mall without caving in! Over the last few months I have seen recipes floating around blogland for homemade pretzels and I was sceptical, I couldn’t believe that these tasty treats could ever be replicated at home…boy was I wrong!

Pizza Puffs, sounds like heaven right? My friend Erin has the best list of popular blogs, one of which is called Cooking With My Kid and this recipe caught my eye. I thought they would the perfect dinner for my sister to make my twin nieces Audrey and Lilly but I wanted to try them for myself before I sent her the link cause I am such a nice sister;).
I made them for Chris for a little appetizer while he watched the Michigan game a few weekends ago. These little treats are so easy to make, you can make them ahead of time and freeze them or serve them warm right out of the oven. I served them with warm marinara sauce but you could try them with a cheesy garlic dip or ranch dressing. Enjoy the recipe and let me know if you have ever made something similar with different veggies, I would love to hear about it!

I am so excited that today is the first day of kids week here at Kuzak’s Closet! Each day this week a new guest blogger will be sharing kid friendly tips for entertaining, traveling, educating, and much much more so keep coming back!
Renee is guest blogging for me today, she is the mother to two beautiful girls, Evie and Hailey. She is a busy mom and because health and wellness are a big priority for her I asked her to share some healthy children’s recipes.
How many of you mothers out there have trouble getting your children to eat their veggies? Maybe you have children that will eat their veggies but just can’t seem to find fun and healthy snacks. Do I have the solution for you! One of my favorite cookbooks can help you get your little ones to eat their veggies and not even know it. Jessica Seinfeld’s Deceptively Delicious is full of wonderful recipes that disguise veggies in yummy delicious kid friendly dishes.
