Honey Ginger Lemonade

I hope you have enjoyed my spring cocktail series this week! I didn’t think it would be fair for me to be on vacation without you so I treated you to simple spring cocktails each and every day!

Today’s spring cocktail requires a few very simple ingredients and one more “rare” ingredient, patience!  To achieve the delicious honey ginger flavor you will need to bring the honey to a boil and let the ginger steep in it. It doesn’t take too long but it does require some time.  You probably have most of these ingredients in your pantry already…

 Lemon Lavender Cocktail

Today’s cocktail is a blend of 2 of my favorite beverages, champagne and lemonade.  It’s the most expensive cocktail from this week’s series to shop for but it’s totally worth it.  It will wow your friends and family this Easter if you are looking for a special signature drink to serve with appetizers before your meal.

I hope you all had a nice weekend!  The weather was beautiful here.  My team had to divide an conquer all weekend.  We had 2 big projects to tackle on Saturday, an estate sale in Santa Clara and a estate liquidation in Palo Alto.  Today Taylor wrapped up the Palo Alto project with the crew while I sold items out of our warehouse on Craigslist and took care of delivering the baby grand piano from last weekend’s Estate Sale. It’s 9am and I am finally sitting down, thank God!

If you had a busy weekend like me and didn’t have time to meal plan you’ll love today’s simple recipe.  It will help kick-start your week and won’t leave you with the bloat that most Chinese takeout does.  I hope you enjoy the recipe! Continue Reading »

Simple Mediterranean Pizza

If you are looking for a simple recipe to get you through another week you’ll love this simple mediterranean pizza.  It’s one of the recipes I taught my assistant Jennalynn how to make on Friday afternoon during our DIY fun.  I had her go create the shopping list, check off the items I already had in the pantry, and then and hit the grocery store.  All important skills for a young lady to learn!

The recipe uses Naan bread for the crust cutting down the baking time significantly.  I love using Naan, it crisps up and each piece creates a person pizza for one person.  We make pizza for dinner typically once a week and I switch up the toppings based on what I have on hand. Continue Reading »
