Evening Walks

Chris and I walk a few miles with our dog Harper every night before it gets too dark.  I don’t consider it exercise because we move a little slower than I would walk on my own.  It would take most people 30 minutes to walk two miles but it take us about an 45 minutes because Harper wants to take a pit stop in every yard in the neighborhood.

See what I mean?  She pretends to be too tired to walk in hopes that we will turn around and head home.  What a wimp!

Instead of walking our normal route last night we detoured past our neighborhood ice cream shop. It’s called Wildberry Yogurt and it just opened a few months ago.  It is very similar to Pinkberry (my very favorite ice cream shop) but it is self serve.  Looks good doesn’t it?

Harper loves ice cream and she knows how to charm her way into getting the last few bites.  I love this picture of her smiling at Chris while he eats his treat.

Here she is enjoying the last few bites of his strawberry yogurt, lucky pup!

I brought my new camera along on this walk so that I could play with the settings.

Chris was a good sport and he let me take about 50 pictures of he and Harper running towards me.  I love this one, Chris has a big cheesy grin and it looks like Harper has a squirrel in her sights.
