Get to Know Chris…

My poor husband is such a trooper when it comes to my blog.  He knows how much work I put into it and always does little things to help me out.  Dinner time at our house has really changed now that I take photos of everything I make.  It is so cute how Chris pays extra attention to how he plates his food and which dishes we use.

It was his idea for me to start a blog in the first place, he told me I should share my opinions with the world (I guess he was sick of being the one to hear me go on and on about fashion rules, wedding registries, and party menus, not to mention organizing!)  Well, I am so glad he did because the blog has been so much fun.  I have met so many wonderful new friends and been able to show the world a little bit of my life as a Professional Organizer.

Because he is always cheering me on behind the scenes I thought it might be fun for you to get to know Chris a little bit more.  He and I could NOT be more opposite when it comes to most things.  I sent him these questions last night while he was on his laptop and I was on mine (sitting 5 feet from each other) and he silently filled them out and sent them back.  Here is a glimpse…

Favorite color?  Blue

Favorite band?  Blink 182

Favorite movie?  Most watched = Clue; Current favorite – The Social Network

Favorite perk at Google?  I could name a few: heated toilet seats (not as creepy as it sounds), free coffee & snacks, free food, dogfooding products (testing products before they are released).

Favorite recipe your wife makes?
 Spinach Portabella Appetizers

Least favorite chore to do around the house?  Folding clothes or cleaning the bathroom – it’s a toss up!

Favorite part of owning a dog?
  Always a warm fuzzy friend.

Most embarrassing moment?  Oddly, when I walked into my first ever college class (French 114) and found myself in a class with 18 girls and 2 guys (including myself). One would think they hit the jackpot! I thought I was in the wrong room.

Dream vacation location?  I’ll go with Tahiti.

If you could change your name what would it be?
I like my name.  Best name change = Ochocinco

Biggest adjustment when moving to California?  My arm is now my left turn blinker.

Favorite holiday?  Christmas

Favorite book?  Anything by Clive Cussler

How old were you when you first started writing computer code?
I think 14 but I can’t remember exactly. I wrote my first web page about a game called Trade Wars played over an online bulletin board (BBS) and then wrote a program to help me play it.

If you could meet one famous person who would it be? Frank Abagnale (catch me if you can)

Pet peeve?  People that can’t pick up their feet walking in sandals.

Dream car?  Tesla roadster

Favorite pizza toppings?  Pepperoni and Mushroom

Most memorable moment?  Rose Bowl 1997 Michigan v. Washington St, I saw Charles Woodson pick off a pass in the end zone 50′ from us.

Ahh, we are both married to computer guys. Although in the Bay Area, that's not such a surprise. Love the comment about the left arm blinker!
My hubby has his eye on a Tesla, too. I hear they are working on a more mass-market model – I won't be at all surprised if we suddenly 'need' a second car, once that's available!

I know, the comment about the blinker cracked me up. Chris really wants the Tesla that is coming out in 2 years, we'll see. He likes that he can plug it in a work, men and their toys!

What a great idea for a post-the men behind the women behind the blog. Refreshing.
