Each Sunday my sister Ashlie and I co-write a blog post about our favorite things called Sister Sister Sunday. Sister Sister Sunday is a great way for us to keep in touch every week and stay connected.   Each week our theme changes so make sure to visit us every Sunday to check out what we are into next!

 Last Week’s Favorite!

Each Sunday we host a “Linky Party” so all of you can share your favorite things with us.  Thank you all for linking up last week, we have so much fun checking out your posts and reading about your families.   Our favorite post from last week’s party came from Becca over at Adventures in Decorating.  She shared her fall cloche project, so cute, check out her blog for so many inspiring ideas!

Now on to Sister Sister Sunday!

My sister and I have had so much fun hosting Sister Sister Sunday Linky parties each week.  This week we are featuring guest bloggers Audrey and Lilly Brining.  They are my sister’s two year old twin daughters who are absolutely darling!  Sister Sister sure does start ‘em young!

As 2 1/2 year olds they are constantly changing their minds about what they like and do not like.  My sister created a list of their current favorites and thought she would pass it along to our readers.  Some of the items on the list have been around for months while others are new editions!
First, here are some pictures of the girls, so cute!  Lilly has straight hair and Audrey’s is curly.
This first item has become a life savor! Whether we are on the go or just outside playing both Audrey and Lilly love being independent at snack time.  I love that I don’t have to pick up cheerios and goldfish constantly! They are a perfect way to pre-pack snacks for the diaper bag and are a breeze to clean!
This item is a new edition to Audrey and Lilly’s favorite things.  I recently picked up Busy Busy Town, at Barnes and Noble last weekend.  The girls immediately fell in love and have been asking for this book before bed each night.  They love looking for Lowly the worm on each page and they love how each page has lots of little drawings on it.  Being a teacher, I also could not resist Big Big Schoolhouse and scooped it up as soon as I found it.

Shoes are something the girls really like.  Whether it be mine, their dads, or their own–they love to wear shoes!  As a mom I cringe at shoes with characters and lights.  I have always wondered “what is wrong with a basic good shoe?” When looking through my most recent Lands End catalog I came across these cute little Mary Janes.  I love the rubber sole, the easy Velcro fastener, and I love that they still look like little girl shoes.  Audrey and Lilly were equally excited when they tried them on.
The girls got their first Little People set last Christmas from their Grammy and have loved it (the big red barn and school bus).  They play with it almost daily. In the past few months they have gotten a few more Little People toys–the Fire Station, the Airplane, and some more out buildings and animals to go with their farm.  The pieces are just their size and I love to watch their imaginations grow as they play!
Audrey and Lilly received these tricycles for their 2nd birthday. At first they were not too interested in learning how to ride them but as we spent more and more time outside this summer they both have really started to like them! I love the size of these bikes-perfect for a 2 year old (it’s a bit smaller than the traditional tricycle).  I can not believe that both girls can now ride them with success! They are so proud of their peddling!
Thanks Audrey and Lilly for guest posting, all of your favorite things are so fun!  If you know someone who would be interested in guest posting on Sister Sister Sunday please email me at kuzakscloset@gmail.com.
Now let’s party! Please link up to our Sister Sister party.  Show us what your favorites things are right now and inspire us for next week.  We are always looking for new favorite recipes, clothing, cosmetics, DIY projects and much much more.  We will feature our favorite next week!  Please take our button to spread the word about Sister Sister Sunday.
