I am SO EXCITED for our trip to Michigan this week. We are headed to Mackinac Island for my cousin’s wedding and some much needed family bonding. For those of you who are still in suspense…I chose the Tahari Kathy Dress, it fits perfect and I think love that it can be dressed up or dressed down. I am going to wear it with gold strappy heals and simple jewelry. Thank you so much for your feedback!
It has been over a year since all of my siblings have been together. Do any of you have family scattered all over the country like us? My sister is in Michigan, my brothers are in North Carolina, and I live in California. How do you keep in touch? It has always been a priority to visit my siblings, when we lived in Chicago we tried to drive back to Michigan every 6 to 8 weeks to visit my parents, Christopher, and Ashlie and we were lucky to live farely close to Nick while he was in Chiropractic school in Iowa. Now that we are in California it is more difficult to see everyone but we try our best. Skype, facebook, and phone calls work best.
I am looking forward to updating this photo from last summer, riding bikes around the island and enjoying some salt water taffy.
One of the bike rental shops is called Orr Kids, quite fitting for our trip because my mom’s family name is Orr…

For the first time I am going to take a view days off from blogging but stay tuned for pictures from the wedding and enjoy my old posts while I am away.

Have fun on Mackinaw Island. Two years next Monday Rob and I were there getting married. It is a beautiful place to have a wedding and pictures. Thanks to your brother he made me great Mackinaw Island wedding invitations. Enjoy seeing your family!

Hey Mandy…We're only an hour SW of the bridge if you guys want to stop on your way downstate! You can even stay over if you have the time!
