Sister Sister: Nighty Night!

When I was a personal shopper at Marshall Field’s Company, my mentor stressed to me all of the time how important proper pajamas are to a wardrobe.  When I help my clients organize their closets and wardrobes, all too often I see them substitute casual wear like sweatpants and sweatshirts for pajamas.  You should never wear an outfit that you would wear gardening or grocery shopping between the sheets, it isn’t right.  This week on Sister Sister, my sister and I are sharing our spring pajama favorites.  Each season you should go through your pajama drawer and get rid of the old and bring in some new.  Enjoy!

I love buying new pajamas and it’s always fun to get a new pair in the spring after cleaning out drawers and getting rid of the tired and worn looking ones.My favorite place to find pajamas is TJ Maxx, but lately department stores have also been running some great deals and steals.  Here are the ones that made my wishlist.
Simply Vera-Vera Wang Floral PJ Set.  This set is cute and cool looking! It comes in two fun color schemes and looks so comfy!

Sweetest Softest Robe from Bath and Body Works.  This robe looks so soft and cozy.  I love that it is a little shorter for spring and summer.  I was surprised about the great quality of the robes that Bath and Body Words carries, plus there are always coupons available to make this purchase an even greater deal!

Printed Jersey Sleepers for Baby.  I couldn’t leave my daughters off the list!  It is so hard to find pajamas right now that have feet in them!  Everywhere I look there are short sleeve pajamas and capris or short bottoms.  I don’t understand this because it’s so hard to keep both girls covered up.  They move around so much and kick the blanket off constantly.  There are some pretty chilly spring nights and mornings and it makes me feel better when they are covered up a bit more.  Old Navy has these adorable footed pajamas on sale right now and if you buy more than one pair they are only $10 a piece!

I hate trying to find tops that match bottoms so I try to by sets. I like the tops to be somewhat fitted so I don’t wake up with them over my head, I hate it when things roll up and are not comfy.

Victoria’s Secret Racerback PJ.  This set is really cute and I love the that is is a racerback and the straps slip and slide all night.  Victoria’s Secret cotton is always a good value and it washes up so nice.

I love sleepwear from Anthropologie, I bought a robe from there 5 years ago and it is still soft and wonderful.  These pjs are cute and feminine, perfect for spring.

PJ Salvage Classic Poplin Pajamas.  Do the words “crisp cotton poplin” excite you and much as they do me?  I am always traveling or hosting company so I need comfy pajamas that are appropriate for the “public.”  These are have a cute pattern with a classic style.
