September 17th, 2011 …
make a difference with your Down Dog!
Anne Jelinek from Chrome Fit, this picture illustrates her true beauty!

My name is Anne Jelinek, you might remember me from my home gym organizing guest post a few months ago!  I am personal trainer and yoga instructor here in the Bay Area and am excited to reach out to Kuzak’s Closet readers with an amazing event!

Yoga for Hope is a fundraising event put on each year by City of Hope – much like a run/walk or a cycle event – to raise money for cancer, HIV/AIDs and Diabetes research.  At City of Hope, patients are offered gentle restorative Yoga classes as a complementary therapy to traditional treatments, and this program has had a profound impact on quality of life for many City of Hope patients.

In addition to researching complementary and alternative therapies, City of Hope conducts innovative, results oriented, patient focused research that examines the entire course of cancer, diabetes and HIV/AIDS —from diagnosis and treatment, from remission and relapse to survivorship.

There are a couple of ways that you can help change the lives of survivors in the Bay Area!

I’m asking yogis in the greater Bay Area to join Team Chrome Fit and hit the mat with me on September 17th in Union Square in San Francisco!  Included in the $35 registration fee is a special presentation, a yoga class with leading Bay Area instructors and workshops throughout the afternoon – as well as great vendors and the opportunity to network with like-minded yogis.

If you can’t attend the event or don’t practice yoga – please consider making a small donation to Team Chrome Fit’s fundraising efforts.  We are hoping to raise $350 for City of Hope this year!
My personal page (where you can sign up, make donation, or just learn more)…Or you can join directly at the Chrome Fit team page.
Thanks so much to Amanda for the opportunity to reach out to you with this opportunity!
