I am turning 30 in 30 days from today and I couldn’t be more ready! My 20s were a bit exhausting at times, different jobs, many moves, lots of bad dates…the list goes on. I thought for my own record I would make a list of some of the highlights and low lights of the last decade of my life…
Low Lights
Taking the LSAT exam twice.
Attending law school.
Going on a date with anyone and everyone my friends set me up with…
Losing my Uncle Danny.
Moving 9 times, (that is why I am so organized!)
Gaining 20 pounds.
Living in Chicago.
Highlights
Graduating from Alma College.
Working as a personal shopper for Marshall Fields.
All of the road trips to Purdue University with my friends Emily and Alicia, Boiler Up!
The day I quit law school.
Starting my own business, Kuzak’s Closet
Meeting my husband Chris and saying “I do”
Throwing the biggest party, our wedding! It was so beautiful!
Adopting our dog Harper (this is debatable some days, )
Becoming an Aunt to my twin nieces.
Seeing so many of our family and friends tie the knot.
Making great friends everywhere I lived, even Chicago (Linda & Eliza…you two got me through it!)
Driving across the country with Chris to move to California, what an adventure.
Selling our Chicago condo after 8 months on the market!
Losing 20 pounds.
Finally feeling settled!
I am excited to see what the 30s have in store for me. Hopefully less moves around the country, more success in my business, and lots and lots of fun!
To help celebrate my big 3-0 my husband and I are going to Palm Springs. I am so excited to soak up some sun, ride bikes, and just relax! Stay tuned for pictures from our trip, the resort we are staying at looks gorgeous!
