A client of mine contacted me in a slight panic last week after she got a call from a friend who was coming into town for a visit. We can all relate, some worse than others! She and I have been working on organizing a different space in her house for a few weeks so I was excited about the last minute change up. I knew the living room wouldn’t take too long to get organized and it would be more instant gratification than the other big project I am working on with her.
Her living room had become a dumping ground for everything in the house, it wasn’t a relaxing place to hang out and not ready for entertaining. We spent the day moving unwanted furniture out to the garage so it could be sold, junk to the garbage, and putting everything else back to it’s original home. She was excited to finally display personal items and enjoy some of her pretty antiques.
the clutter, it looks so much
more open after…
at the table before…
and sorting through the paperwork
piled in boxes and on the table,
there was much more space after...

Is that even the same place? Amazing work, Amanda!
That is impressive!
You are so right. Our piles keep coming back, it's just a question of habit. Thanks.
Amazing transformation. You've done it again! Nice job on the furniture arrangement too.
Wow – next time I have friends from out of town, I'm calling in Kuzak's Closet to help me clean up and re-organize my pace. Nice work!
That's amazing!
Nice job, Amanda.
I have a feeling this woman is going to get A LOT more done. It's hard to get any work done or be creative when we have this much clutter going on. GREAT JOB.

LOVE this..Great job. It does look like a completely different place!!! Ready for some friendly company??? Barb
this is almost funny how good a clean the clutter job you've done.
as this is also a very important feng shui corner, and as you have 2 huge mirrors magnifying the energy in that space, you have done yourself a HUGE GIGA favor by cleaning it up.
i am curious about the position in this house, but i am sure that one of the aspects in your life has dramatically improved since you've tidy-ed up, besides your digestion & abundance.

What a transformation!
I came over from Organizing Junkie. I had a technical question. How long did the sorting, decluttering and finding “homes” for all the stuff take? Was it a one (all-)day job or a whole weekend affair?
