Who knew a storage unit could look so pretty? My client lives in a little loft condo and uses his storage unit like most people would use a garage, it stores his extra household items, out of season clothing, tools, athletic gear, and memorabilia. His son lives out of state and only visits a few times a year so he also stores extra bedding, toys, and arts and crafts for him. He wanted the unit to be more organized and functional for him so he hired Kuzak’s Closet.
This client was fun to work for, we only met for a quick 3 hour session to go through all of the boxes and I decide what he needed and didn’t need. From there I went back for 2 sessions on my own to build shelving, and organize and label the items into bins. I emailed my client to show him the final result and his response was hilarious, “Holy crap! is that my storage unit??? I have never been that organized in my life!! Haha…love it!”
The changes I made were amazing, the space is so much more functional and efficient. It will be much easier for him to find what he is looking for when his son visits, when he is going camping, or wants access to his paperwork and memorabilia. Enjoy the before and afters…
I couldn’t drill into the walls because it was a storage unit so I used heavy duty Command Hooks. They worked out perfect to hold his bike helmet, tennis racket, and boogie board.
It’s not too late to transform your storage unit if it isn’t organized. Spend some time sorting through the stuff and putting it into categories. Once you see how much you need to store, place everything into plastic bins and either stack them or invest in heavy duty shelving. I love Whalen shelving, it is durable and affordable.
My business is really booming right now and I couldn’t be happier! I am currently booking appointments for mid November so if you or someone you know would like to get organized with Kuzak’s Closet before the holidays contact me today.
