If you are looking for a chocolate chip cookie with a twist, try out this chocolate-cranberry chip cookie recipe. I love that it has the traditional taste of a homemade chocolate chip cookie but has walnuts for a little crunch and dried cranberries that add a little tang. I cut the recipe in half and it made 2 dozen cookies.
Ingredients
1 cup butter, softened
1 1/3 cups granulated sugar
2/3 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups dried cranberries
1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
Directions
In a large mixing bowl, beat butter with an electric mixer 30 seconds. Add sugars, soda and salt. Beat till combined.
Drop from rounded tablespoons 2 inches apart on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake in 325° oven 14 to 16 minutes or till golden. Cool a few minutes; remove to a wire rack to cool.

They sound great! I have a similar recipe that calls for white chocolate chips with the cranberries and that is a wonderful twist too!
Those look great
I'ma have to try this recipe and then I'll tell you how they came out
Looks yummy… I would love to try your recipe, if you don't mind?
I am gathering recipes and plan for a spring party.
Love it!
Great! I hope you try it out for your Spring Party, if you find any other good recipes pass them on, I am throwing a shower in May.
This is a nice idea. CC cookies are a staple around here and I always like to find ways to use those yummy dried cranberries (I put them in scones, too.)
