Each Sunday my sister Ashlie and I co-write a blog post about our favorite things called Sister Sister Sunday. Sister Sister Sunday is a great way for us to keep in touch every week and stay connected.   Each week our theme changes so make sure to visit us every Sunday to check out what we are into next.
Last Week’s Favorite!

Each Sunday we host a “Linky Party” so all of you can share your favorite things with us.  Thank you all for linking up last week, we have so much fun checking out your posts and reading about your families.   Our favorite post from last week’s party came from Megan over at Fowl Single File.  She made the most ADORABLE little penguins for a birthday cake, we just love the upside down penguins, too cute.  Check out her blog to read more and see the finished cake, amazing!

Now on to Sister Sister Sunday

Thank you so much for continuing to spread the word about Sister Sister Sunday.  Last week’s linky party was amazing, thank you so much for linking up!
This week are are so luck to have guest bloggers, Lauren and Anna Bird.  These sisters are truly “Birds of a Feather,”  they are best friends just like Ashlie and I.  Enjoy their post…
Birds of a Feather…
Hello everyone! My name is Lauren Bird and I blog at The Elephant’s Trunk. I’m also hear today with my younger sister, Anna (or as I like to call her Banana).
Banana on the left and me (Lauren) on the right.

Most people wouldn’t consider someone who is younger than themselves to be their hero, but I do. Anna is my absolute hero. When my Mom was pregnant with Anna she suffered a stroke. The doctors pressured my Mom to have an abortion in order to protect my Mom’s health. My Mom and Dad both decided that they couldn’t leave me without a sibling and so against doctors orders, Anna was born. Anna has been the kindest person I have ever met. She would go out of her way to help anyone she knew and anyone she didn’t know. She is such an inspiration to me and I continue to strive to be as kind as my younger sister.
Anna
My name is Anna and I’m Lauren’s little sister! My sister is great at making jewelry and great sense of fashion, i would be lost without her opinion. I’m finally able to pick out a couple of my clothes after about 15 years of being my sister’s Barbie. I realize now by being Lauren’s Barbie that she saved me from a lot of bad fashion decisions, that would probably have sent the fashion police after me! I used to be a sweatshirt and jeans kind of girl, but when my sister got into fashion and wanted to pick out outfits for me, I got all many compliments, and never stopped asking her for her help. Wearing outfits picked out by my sister I felt more confident about myself!
I appreciate my sister’s sense of fashion and also admire her creativity. She creates beautiful things and I love all the items she makes for her Etsy store, V8 Ambition. I love my sister more than anything and am so glad that being sisters has allowed us now to be best friends.
Thanks for having us!
Love: Lauren and Anna
