Now that my Christmas Decorations are all put away I needed to pick up a few fun accessorizes to liven up my living and dining room. It was just looking a bit naked! I decided to put a HomeGoods gift card to good use earlier this week when I saw these great pillows there when I was shopping. I love the color combination and the size. Before I committed to them, I asked someone in the isle what she thought about them. It might seem strange but I always do that if I am shopping alone, and I should take a second to thank all of the strangers who have talked me out of some crazy purchases! Anyway, I think the pillows look so nice with my couch and the rest of the room. Plus, they were only $50 for the pair so I can switch them out from time to time.
This is a picture of the candles glowing at night, very cute.
The mercury ties in with the mercury lamp across the room that I bought at Pottery Barn last year. I love how pretty it is.
Since I have so much silver sparkle going on I thought I would keep my cute wreath up above my fireplace for a bit longer. Originally it was hanging with a Merry Christmas sign but I think I can keep it up almost year round with some holiday accessories from time to time to make it more festive.
I hope you like the new accessories, let me know if you have more ideas to help spruce up my living room. I haven’t added any window treatments or hung much up on the walls because we are only living in this house temporarily until April.
Thanks and have a great weekend! Don’t forget to come back on Sunday for our weekly Sister Sister linky party.

Have you thought about a carpet under the dining table? It could bring even more color/whimsy into your space. LOVE the new pillows!!!
I <3 Home Goods! And I have a fondness for hot air balloon prints, my husband proposed in a hot air balloon. I'm a new blogger, I'd love if you stopped by!
Great pics! I'm a big fan of Home Goods, too… I have to limit my trips or else things can get out of hand.
You did well to have an early date in a hot air balloon; I'd been married 5 years before I pulled that one off
good job! it looks very crisp and roomy! love the hot air balloon print and the pop of red it adds:)
In love with those colorful pillows! That print is so cute!
I love the pillows! They add a great pop to the room. Of course, Harper adds a special touch of flair.
And that picture is fantastic too!!!
Oh my heck, I just used that floral fabric on your pillows on a job just this week. I have been doing drapery fabrication for over 20 years, and it was fun to see the fabric I just sent out the door on your blog.
