Side Table Makeover & Sponsors

Back in February I asked for you opinion on what color to paint the little side tables that my neighbor Jack gave to me.  Do you remember them, they were dull, dated, and boring…

The options were blue, green, brown, yellow, or other and green won by a landslide.  I was at the hardware store ready with my fun pillows in hand so I could find the perfect green paint when I spotted a glossy turquoise that matched perfectly.  I love turquoise so I had to go with it.

We came home and set up shop in my workshop (an addition on the garage).  We took the hardware off, sanded, primed and painted and we just love the results. The total costs for this makeover was $11 (sand paper and paint), not too bad!

We have the tables placed at each side of the sofa in our family room.  The room is so big and still needs a lot of styling but these tables make it livable for now.  I am going to add pieces that I really love over time to create the look that we want.  First on my list is a rug and some prints for the walls, if you have any ideas for where I should shop let me know!  I love the turquoise and I think I want to find a neutral rug and wall accents to tie it all together.  Eventually when I get sick of the large floral pillows I can replace them with something seasonal, beige, or even a turquoise pattern.  Here is one last before and after, I hope you like them!

I’ve been blogging for over a year and a half and it’s time to offer sponsor spots here at Kuzak’s Closet.  Starting this July, I would like to offer advertising spots for etsy shops, blogs, fashion, organizing, and cleaning businesses and much much more.  If you would be interested in advertising on my blog please email me at kuzakscloset@gmail.com.  Advertising is a wonderful way to gain exposure and I look forward to hearing from you!
