Q&A with The Marin Merchant
Q: What exactly is The Marin Merchant?
A: We’re a treasure trove of globally sourced, one-of-a-kind vintage finds! Think pieces from every corner of the world—Africa, India, Asia, and beyond—ready to add a touch of magic to your home.

Q: Will there be furniture or just smaller decor items?
A: Oh, we’re bringing the whole vibe! Expect a mix of furniture- side tables, stools, and benches, art, unique decor, and few surprises you didn’t even know your home needed.
Q: What’s the most unusual item you’re bringing?
A: Without giving away too much, let’s just say… there’s a hand-carved piece that once duals as a gameboard and awesome one-of-a-kind decor piece. It’s got stories, trust us!
Q: Where can customers shop with you?
A: We recently opened a beautiful seaside studio space in Sausalito, where clients are welcome to visit us in person. We also sell our products online at www.themarinmerchant.com and at monthly pop-ups in the Bay Area. Be sure to follow along @themarinmerchant to stay up to date with us!

Q: Any advice for first-time shoppers of vintage and global goods?
A: Don’t be afraid to take your time and explore! Vintage and globally sourced pieces have so much personality, and the beauty lies in their imperfections and uniqueness. Look for items that speak to you and that you can see becoming a meaningful part of your home. It’s all about finding that piece that resonates with your personal style and the story you want to tell in your space.
